Relactation questions

A little of my history: I have a 3 month old son (born 6wks early) I breastfed him until 2 weeks ago when I was told to stop by his pedi because of suspected food allergies. Recently I have been giving him frozen bm because of a cold and he has had no allergic symptoms. How do I go about re-lactating and will I get my full supply back? Thankyou for your time.

I'm mobile, and won't get to a computer for at least another week, cuz my littlest is 5 days old now.
I relactated with my second child 5 years ago. I just kept googling ;) check out kellymom.com for some. My best resource was LLL consultant who came to my house.
I can't detail right now. I used a supplemental nursing system. Fenugreek and blessed Thistle. And power pumping (pump 10 min wait 10, repeat for an hour) key ingredient to relactating is pure stubborness ;) oh, and you must pump at least once during the night!

I don't have a ton of advice, but Definitely find a La Leche League in your area, they will be able to give you tons of info and support!

also see if your son will take the breast even for just pacifying. If so, lie in bed with him and nurse as often as you can for about three days using skin to skin .. this can help too. The contact of you and your baby will help to stimulate milk flow and the frequent nursing stimulation to the breasts will also help.

Yes he will, he's only been off for two weeks and he had rather have the breast than bottle but he is frustrated because there is no milk. :( Im thinking of buying Domperidone from new zealand but it takes 13 days to get here.

How is it going? We all got the flu here and I have been so busy with that.
