With my first born I breast feed but only for a few months. I noticed nipples were really short and he couldnt latch on. I didnt know anything about inverted nipples and only read the basics on breastfeeding, u kno, breast is best! A nurse recommended using nipple shields and they worked but became a pain in the butt bc they would not stick. So of course it just eventually got easier to give him formula. I tried just pumping but it didnt help and bc I was getting stimulation fm baby my milk dried up.
I want to get it right this time. Does anyone have any advice? Any tips on what I can do?
id say just start right off with pumping....rather it be a manual or whatever it might help....and some of them come with a silicone insert that goes in the cup of it so it forms to your breast easier. good luck
