What's swaying your vote in this election?

i vote on the issues.

It's completely on the position of the candidate. where he stands on abortion and such issues. I usually stick with my party regardless of the person. it's all about what they stand for.

actually if I was going by who I liked, thenI would be voting totally differently. I am going for the issues

I believe in the issues but I also know that the republicans will always be for the rich so I will always be a democrat.

well i made my decision on two things... first Obama has stated that he wants to change the constitution of the united states to restate distrubution of wealth meaning those who make good money will have to share with those who dont work at all (dont get me wrong i understand our taxes going to welfare but raising our taxes even more?) PLUS Obama is now trying to bankrupt coal companies so we can build those windmill type things meaning raising our energy prices ALOT more than we already pay (my family pays 250 every month for electricity how much more can i go up?)

Obama is the worst canadite out there because hes trying to change America as we know it for the worse... hes going to make us go into another great depression and i dont care if you think im racist im not believe me i would vote for Obama if these things didnt turn up. You dont believe me ill send you articles.... youtube videos... DONT VOTE FOR OBAMA HES THE DEATH TO OUR LIBERTIES AND FREEDOMS!

Voting for Obama - for his political views - nothing more, nothing less!

It was the issues that best fit my moral standards. Also one is the lesser of two evils.

Issues. I am voting for the person that works for me and my family!

What is swaying my vote is my first ex husband. He is campaigning heavily for Obama and we have had some wonderfully interesting four hour discussions on why an Obama vote is the right thing to do. We have sparred many times but always with the utmost respect. He has tried to influence my son towards Obama as well.

All to no avail.

When my ex and I were married he jumped on the Ross Perot bandwagon. He gave months of his time to that campaign, he attended rallies and did everything he could to get him elected.

The fact that my ex is voting for Obama is enough reason for me not to.

Of course this is in jest but there is something to it. Both of my ex husbands are voting for Obama. Logically speaking we never agreed on anything so this should be no different.

Actually I am almost sure I will vote for McCain because I am freightened of the Democrats having control of all branches of the government. I don't think it is a good thing and if the tables were turned I would vote the other way since I am unable to vote for many senators and congress.

I like Obama, I think we are lucky to have two canditates who both want to serve our country and not just themselves. I don't think he is ready yet, I think he has gotten way too much of a pass from the media, I think he should have had Hillary as his running mate. I don't care for most of his associations. I really don't know what he stands for but I think he is probably an ok guy. I know what McCain is made of. I might not like where his party is now and I might not like where he is with that party but I know he is a man of character and that is more important to me. I don't vote on the issues. I'd vote completely different if I did.
