Just had Gastric Bypass...help with liquid diet!!!

Hello!

I just had Gastric Bypass on Thursday.   I need some ideas for things to eat on the liquid diet.   I am getting bored with the same old jello and such!  Help!!!

Well liquid is liquid ..there isn't a whole lot to choose from! Jello, sugar free popsicles, broth, crystal light, etc is about it.

Try different soups. WHat i would do is put the soup (is it was chunky) into the food processor and blend it really well and eat it.  And of course there is the carnation instant breakfast or boost drinks.

I had egg drop soup from my favorite restaurant. Yummy and full of Protein!

NSA Carnation Instant Breakfast is what I lived on for 3 weeks prior to surgery, and following surgery.  Still have it almost once daily.  It depends what your plan allows.  I was allowed broth, soups (not cream soups) following surgery.

It sucks alot! But try different shotglasses, or different spoons, anything to make it look different. Its all a mental thing that u have to learn to overcome.
