Hey everyone, I'm 11 years post-op gastric bypass and 6 months pregnant. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that's post-op and is or has been pregnant. I'd like to know what your experiences were to share ideas and answer questions. Thanks!

How has your body reacted to being pregnant? Is this your first just like myself?

my body is LOVING the pregnancy... this is my second, the other was pre-op... I had chronic hypertension that turned into severe pre-eclampsia with my last and ended up having her at 35 weeks, also got gestational diabetes, was 310 the day I delivered. I had my RNY when she was 8mths old... my lowest weight was 162 and 168 when I got pregnant, yesterday at my appt I was 197, so 29 lb weight gain...  I have NO medical problems what so ever.... only thing is low b12 but I had that before....

I am loving being pregnant... love my belly... love everything.... my due date is July 9.

I had my post-op baby, at 38wks 2days... she came all on her own, like fairymaid said (I forgot about this) my iron was low, but that was it... NO other problems.. had her with a successful vbac... she was 7lbs 1oz and 19 inches long...
