What did YOU eat today.

Well I have a member that would like to know what everyone has eatten today, post, and pre surgery.

BE HONEST!!!!

10/03/09 I will be 8 yrs post op

I ate...a crunchwrap supreme from taco bell for lunch....coffee for breakfast....dinner was a tiny amount of beans and weinners and a couple of small pieces of cheddar cheese...and a handful of chips.

and I have had 1 lg cup of coffee and one half bottle of water.

Now how is that for nutrition...lol.

Dang when you see it written out like that I see that ummmm...I need more fluids and good food.

Thanks for doing this wow I have to get back on track.

And I just bought wii fit to get me moving.....Do you know that machine tells you that you are FAT....OMG I paid money for that...lol.

In case you are wondering...I lost a total of 200 pds and I never reached my goal of 180...I am 5'10....and still have the everlasting 20 pds to go.

Lets hear it people.

I'm 10 months out:  Breakfast-Protein drink with vits

                                    Lunch-taco soup with a couple whole grain tortilla chips

                                    Snack-Protein bar

                                    Dinner-not sure yet

                                    Snack-almonds

A BUNCH OF WATER-at least 64 oz

15 days out, here was yesterday's food:

B: 4 oz. fat free lactaid with vitamins

    2 tbsp. Light yogurt

 

L:  2 tbsp. garlic mashed potatos

D:  2 tbsp. low fat cottage cheese

16 oz jiuce/water mixed

8 oz water falvored with sugar free tea

I miss real coffee with cream and sugar!!!!!

shrimp!!  i lived off shrimp cocktail at that stage.  Cottage cheese..  (you can put a bit of spagetti sauce in it and it tastes like lasagna!).  kosher dill pickles wrapped in turkey breasts=... careful with chicken and bread at this stage... you really should stay away from any bread....

6 yrs out here..

bkfst - protein shake (champion pure whey vanilla, 3 shots of irish cream davinci sugar free syrup, 2 scoops instant coffee, tons ice and 8oz water in blender.. yumm FRAPP!)

Lunch - 2 kosher dill pickles

Dinner - Protein shake (see bkfst)

in between - had  32 oz iced coffee... and tons water / iced tea

4 weeks out tomorrow....

I had a small helping of chicken lunch meat with some avocado, then half a serving of egg beaters with turkey sausage patty and lots of water...that will be my big meals for the day more than likely....I will snack some....but, I eat bigger in the morning...and lighter as the day goes on....and working out on the Wii!

Almost 2 years out....

Breakfast was a chocolate protein shake

Lunch was a salad with chicken and cheese and about three bites of garlic bread

Supper was a hamburger pattie with cheese on it, and a few pickle slices

Snack - a kiwi and a couple peanut butter chips

Later tonight I will have some sf pudding with a dallop of cool whip on it

May try to get in half a protein shake as my protein has been low lately....
