Some other websites I advertise on are Maya'sMom and MySpace. If you do choose Maya'sMom you'll have to go to the 'Parent Owned Business' group. They won't let you post anywhere else. I also have business cards made up (Vista Print will do them for free, you just pay for shipping), you leave those lil' buggers somewhere & people are bound to visit your website out of pure curiosity! Putting up flyers in laundromats, libraries, grocery stores, etc. helps.  Also, since I work for a compnay that has awesome products that I personally use & love, I'll buy small inexpensive travel sizes as rewards for people who sign up through me. I also got a free website though the company I work with. That always helps.

MMMM, WOW. 

  A thread asking for advertising tips, and so many people chose to advertise their business instead of posting anything helpful.  I really don't know what to say about that. 

Anyway, back to what the post was about.....

I belong to about 20 different groups here on Cafemom, that I post ads in.  Having three busineses, well this could take a ton of time, so I rotate out whatever company I am working with, so as not to jam up the boards with just my ads.  I also use a bunch of different forums, social networking sites, etc.  I have a group here on cafemom for home biz opps, that I posted a HUGE list of resources on if anyone wants it.  go to http://www.cafemom.com/group/homebizopps  and see if there is something there you can use.  Almost ALL of them are free to use.

I also blog, and use that as a way to get my stuff out there for everyone to see.  Business cards, like the other poster said are great.  Places to leave them are tables at restaurants when you go out to eat, bathroom counters, end tables at doctor's offices, put them in bills when you mail them off,etc.

When I sell something on ebay, I always include a business card, and brochure or flier with my package when I ship it. 

Talk to people.  If you are having a conversation with a stranger, and an oppportunity arrises to interject what you do for a living into the conversation, jump on it!!!  You never know where that might take you!!

I also recommend getting some training.  Take advantage of what your upline if you have one does for you.  Visit www.danijohnson.com and listen to a few of her recorded training calls.  She offers live calls free all the time, and she's phenomenal when it comes to motivation.

As with any business, the trick to marketing The Sample Bag, just like any other business is really not a trick at all.
