There are a few guidelines about how this group works.

This group is for the discussion of what's going on on CafeMom. This can be a discussion of CafeMom policies, new functionality, suggestions, questions, and other things along these lines. We're open to criticism and to praise.

We will have conversations here about any of these topics and try to work out ideas of new things we can add to CafeMom, explain the way things work on CafeMom, or just shoot the breeze a little bit:)

1) We will remove any posts/comments that are off-topic.
2) We will remove any posts/comments that break the overall guidelines of CafeMom.
3) We will lock threads that are duplicates and direct conversations to the appropriate areas.
4) No advertising, soliciting, or anything along those lines.
5) Do not use this forum to report other users, groups, posts, or anything else on CafeMom. Almost every page on the site has a "report this" button on it, use that feature to send us a report about a problem that you see.
6) Don't use this to report "emergencies" (technical or otherwise). Since we only check this forum a few times a day, the best way to get a fast reaction if there is a "big" problem on the site is to use the "Contact Us" form at the bottom of the page.
7) Cursing is only acceptable when used as relevant to the discussion. When discussing policies it is sometimes necessaary for us or for members to post things that are objectionable so a conversation can be had about the material. Beware of this in advance!

One overall thing to be aware of is that if you ask questions about the status of other members (or prior members) of CafeMom, we can not publicly release information.  It is a breach of their privacy to release information about them, and we won't do this.  That said, if you ask a specific question about your account, you will be answered publicly, and the answer may not always be something you want the world to know - so be careful what you ask!

CafeMom Team (that's us) generally will look at this board a few times a day. We won't reply all of the time. We won't reply on weekends or in the evening/nighttime (we're based in EST, so our hours are roughly 9AM - 7PM).
