I thought it would be a great idea to keep a ongoing post up here for us to brag about our husbands on. Now since this is a "love your husband" group, this should be our longest post. So ladies please come as often as you like (everyday, once a week, whatever) to brag on your husband. I'm sure he's a great man, so let the rest of us know what he did today that makes him a great man.

I want to brag on my husband to day because he has been a really big help to me these last few days. I've been sick and he eally stepped in for me. He took the baby to his check up, brought home dinner a couple nights, ran and picked up juice, helped out with the boys and so much more. He's a great man and I love him!!

Ok, My hubby is not that affectionate. My mother called me tonight to tell me that my grandmother (whom practically raised me and I look to for any advice) has cancer. It broke me down. I did really good till my hubby came home. I had not cried at all, but I had only know for about 10 minutes when he walked in the door. He sat down on the couch and I just lost it. He held me and told me that if she did not make it through this that we would be ok. He know how important she is to me. When my son was about 11 months old she had a massive heart attack. I was nursing my son at the time and Josh told me that he would be ok to go on whole milk at that time (we had been giving him a little here and there anyways), so he told me to go stay at the hospital with her, even though we could only go in her room for 10 minutes ever 3 hours. I stayed up there with her all night one night. He keeps checking on me now, telling me not to get too upset that I need to remember the baby. I am so sorry that this is so long, but for some reason I cant seem to stop typing. He is being so good to me right now, knowing that I am so upset.

Praying for you, Nicole! My favorite Grandma passed away a couple years ago, and I still think of her all the time. She was a hoot! God be with you both through this trial.

As for my husband... He almost always ask me, "What can I do, today, to make you feel loved." He tells me he loves me all the time. He is very affectionate. We even have a secret sign to let the other know we are "frisky" when we are in a crowd.(lol) It is just a little reminder that even though we are surrounded by people...we haven't forgotten about  each other.

Last night he took me out in the middle of a snow storm for ice cream!

I'M REALLY PROUD OF MY HUSBAND FOR MANY REASONS BUT MY BIGGEST REASON OF ALL IS THAT HE MAKES IT HIS HIGHEST MOST IMPORTANT OBLIGATION TO LEAD A GODLY HOUSE HOLD. I AM STILL SHOCKED AND AMAZED OF HOW HE  USES SCRIPTURE TO MAKE OUR MARRIAGE WORK. I AM SO PROUD OF THE FAMILY CHRISTIAN WEB-SITE THAT HE CREATED AND IS ALWAYS TRYING TO FIND A NEW WAY TO USE HIS COMPUTER SKILLS TO GLORIFY GOD! I LOVE MY HUSBAND BEYOND WORDS AND I THANK GOD FOR HIM EVERY DAY!

I am so glad to see ya'll bragging on your husbands. And I guess I'm in a chatty mood today (probably because my friend isn't home to talk to me) cause I few comments for everyone.

Nichole- that is so sweet of Josh. I'm glad he's really being there for you. I know the family he comes from (haha) and affection doesn't normally come easy. So I'm really happy for you.

Tracy- Your husband is so sweet to ask you that all the time. And I really like what you said about ya'lls secret signal. That's cool.

Candy- I'm glad ya'll are going out for Valentine's. We're doing the same thing but it seems that something keeps coming up and we keep putting our date off. Hopfully we'll get to go some time soon. Have fun!!

ChildofChrist (sorry didn't know your first name)- I think that's awesome that your husband is  being the spiritual leader in you home. My husband hasn't taken his place yet (I know the Lord will bring him along eventually) but you've got me really curious about this family web site. Can you tell us more about it?

Today when dh was just having to leave for work, I had to leave to go to town.  We didn't really get to say goodbye, and my mood wasn't the best, as life was "just getting to me" at the moment.  So I pull into the parking lot in town, and a couple seconds later, there he was!  He let me know he loved me, and basically wanted to cheer me up a bit before leaving for work for two days!

He's a sweet man.

Ok I woke up at 4:30 this morning for some reason. I have no idea why. So I knew that we were getting some snow so I turned on the local news to see if my kids had school. I ended up falling back asleep before they said if our school was out or not. My wonderful hubby woke up and was seeing the weather and gently woke me up and said "Baby, the girls don't have school today. Do you want to turn your alarm clock off so that you are not woke up for no reason??" I rolled over and turned it off. I heard his when it went off and roused up a little bit. When he was getting up I reminded him that his lunch was in the fridge and told him I loved him and drive safe. He went out to start the truck and came back in and kissed my and his lips were frozen. So anyways I just wanted to brag on him for being so nice about telling the that the girls did not have school. So that I could get some more sleep. (which I might add I have not been getting too much of lately)

I am bragging on my husband because yesterday was the 27th anniversary of when we started  "going together", and he made a point to let me know that he remembered!

I'm bragging on my husband today because even though he left for work 3 hours early he still remebered to take off the trash. It sounds simple but I'm thankful that I didn't have to bother with it and I'm shocked that he didn't forget.
