so my little one oliver has been cloth diapered since birth...he is 4 months old...he peed in the toilet for the first time yesterday...i was so excited...then today he was making grunting sounds so i decided to see if he would poo in the toilet and he did it...i'm so so so happy...i have been working the past few weeks to figure out his cues and determine the times he most often goes potty...he always goes immediately after a nap and about 10-15 minutes after i nurse him...he only poos every few days and he always grunts so it's easy to know when he needs to poo...i'm hoping to EC part time, mostly during the day...and i'll still cloth diaper him at night, mainly because i will get more sleep if i diaper him at night...he usually wakes up, nurses then falls back asleep...if i held him over the toilet in the middle of the night he for sure would wake up completely and it would take me a while to get him back to sleep
anyway, i just want to let you ladies know that ECing is successful so far (only been doing it for 2 days)...i plan on holding him over the potty once a day for a few weeks...then i'll gradually do it a few more times per day and hopefully have him diaper free during the day within a few months...

That's awesome! Our little one has been going on the potty for the past 2 months, he's now 9 months and I'm so proud every time!
