Trying to start EC at 8 months... help please =]

So Ive been reading into EC, and being a SAHM, I feel like I have the time to properly put into this... My daughter's 8 months and we've been cloth diapering since 3 months. Ive been letting her go without a cover, just started that today. Ive offered the toilet a few times making a Psssh noise. Im not sure what to look for though, what cues should I look for in a 8 month old? Shes exclusively breastfed, so theres never straining with a poo... Im getting her a potty sometime this week...
