My birthday miracle!

I can't believe what happened to me today! And on my birthday :)

First, you should know that I live in Mexico. Although SG-1 was aired here, it was never really a big show. I have a  satellite dish, so that's why I could watch it directly from the Sci-Fi channel. This is just a little explanation for you to understand how this was unbelievable :)

Anyway, when "The Ark of Truth" and "Continuum" came out, DH and I thoguht we would get it either from Amazon or check if the one huge video retail store we have here actually thought of having it. And they did- very expensive. Well, we decided that eventually we'll get them either at the store or through Amazon, once we saved a little.

So today I forgot to pack my son's milk before picking them up from school, I wasn't gonna be back to my house until late afternoon, so I stopped at Walmart, in a hurry and just try to go blindly to get the milk. And what catches my eye as I'm passing through the DVD section? "The Ark of Truth" and at half the price of the other store (G-d bless Walmart... sometimes lol). I grabbed it and what's underneath it? "Continuum", of course. Same price :) I have no clue why our Walmart would carry Stargate DVDs, as I said, it's not a big popular series here. AND I wasn't planning at all to even be at Walmart today.

But there you go! Now my b-day is complete, I'm making fondue in about 5 minutes and cuddling with my hubby to watch my new Stargate movies :)
