Due to finances I wasn't able to go see the movie. :-( BUT I know who played Spock and I have to say I definitely agree!! I don't think they could have picked a better actor from what I saw of the Promos!! Can't wait til it hit DVD!!!

If it was not for "Heroes", I might agree with you. Each time I see him, I think of Skylar. Just creeps me out the way he looks and stares at people. Love the young Kirk. I was very pleased with the movie. We got to see it at the drive in back home when we were there on vacation.
I love the character of Sylar in Heroes! The show wouldn't be half as interesting without him! But also, I am kind of sad that they didn't pursue him being a good guy. But then again, I'm a sucker for a bad boy turned good!
As for the guy who played Kirk . . . You might have seen him in a little movie called The Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement! He was the man trying to take Princess Mia's crown until he fell in love with her! LOL! Just some info there!

I'm not really a "Heroes" watcher *ducks* :) DH was more into it the first season but then lost interest. SO maybe that's why have never seen him as the bad guy and I can focus on him being the yummi guy :)

Nope!! When I saw the new movie I thought they did a WONDERFUL job in casting. Can't wait for another movie with them. Don't know if one is planned but would be great. It's time for some new Sci-fi movies and good TV series.
I only watched season 1 of Heroes so I didn't think of him as Skylar. I thought it was very great casting of him as Spock. The scenes with Leonard Nimroy were eerie. You could believe that this was a young version of him. Kirk was cast great as well. I am looking forward to the next Trek movie with this cast.
Well, I just finished watching the first season of "Heroes"- haven't gotten to the second one yet because I went to Blockbuster yesterday and it was rented out.
I have to say, I had the opposite experience, LOL. I couldn't see Sylar as *that* bad because, c'mon! That's Spock! :)
Besides, bad guys are still sexy... Ba'al, anyone?
