Group Rules

BY PARTICIPATING IN SMART CHICKS, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOLLOWING RULES.

1. Language and Attacks: Racial slurs and hate language are not tolerated under any circumstances. We do not tolerate personal attacks, name-calling, ganging-up, or excessive sarcasm.

2. Civility Reminders: The Administrative Team will issue CIVILITY REMINDERS if a thread is becoming hostile, or is veering way off course from the original subject. These CIVILITY REMINDERS are general in nature, and not aimed at any one person.

3. Member Warning Policy: The Administrative Team will issue warnings for personal attacks, hate speech, excessive rudeness, and deleting threads. After three such warnings, the member will be removed from the group. The Administrative Team reserves the right to lock a post if it is getting out of control. Once a post is locked, EVERYONE involved will receive a warning. ONCE A POST IS LOCKED, NO SPINOFFS of locked posts please.

4. Group Participation: Every member is expected to respond to at least one thread weekly.

5. Gossip: Using this forum to complain about other groups / members is prohibited. If you have a problem with this group, please take it to the GO or Administrators. We prefer that Smart Chicks business is not aired in the journal area or chatterboxes, as this brings unnecessary drama to our group.

6. Deleting Threads: The admin team does not delete threads unless they are advertisements. For members: Once you post a thread, PLEASE do not delete it. Other people take the time to respond, and it's not good form to delete a thread once others have participated.

7. Advertising: Advertising threads are strictly prohibited, and will be deleted. This does include political petitions with no other *debate* factor.

8. Photos: No nude photos. No photos of abortion.
