Okay, so here's the first part of my Holy Tea Club testimonial --
WHat I see in this company is this ... it's a largely product driven company that is attracting Network Marketers because of the pay plan. Best of both worlds.
So what we have here is stability because of genuine product consumption and momentum because those who are savvy see the $$ potential and are being rewarded by a sleeper of a comp plan that is driven by email notices when we leave money on the table by not ordering 'just a little bit more'.
The fact that the product has a 20 year history of avid users is unheard of -- and is a HUGE point in our favor. Usually it's an untried "latest and greatest" type offering and WE become the guines pigs.
If that all sounds like Greek to you, don't pay it any mind at all -- point is though it takes a little getting going, this company has it set up so that it builds and then snowballs -- it's really unlike anything I've experienced in the past 11 years I've been fooling around online.
I don't care whether you're in my group or not -- if you want help building this company, I am more than glad to help out. Anyone who already knows me knows that I am 100% sincere in that offer -- let's everybody get healthy and get financially independent, eh??
Just drop me a line anytime :)
Make it a great day,
Andrea

Okay, so I did a quick google search on an explanation of a matrix comp plan. I'm wondering if people understand the huge attraction of that type of plan. Being that I do understand it, makes it tough for me to see what others might not.
Anyway, I got sidetracked before finding the answer, but did discover that MLM researchers say that the expanding matrix is the best of the matrix plans. Yeah, good to know!
It's now early March and I just wanted to comment that my income from Holy Tea Club went up 27% from January! And I did NO extra work, in fact I barely thought about the biz at all last month - too much going on elsewise.

Be the change you wish to see!

Hi all,
I never thought tea could be so profitable!
I joined in September with my first monthly purchase of HT at $40. In January, I was able to pay for my monthly shipment of tea through my commissions account and have a little left over so the tea for that month was free! In February, my commissions account tripled! I was able to pay for my monthly purchase, get a check and leave enough in the account for next March's shipment of tea! Pretty good, I'd say and all that with just some online promotion at www.healthy-living-for-moms.com/detox-the-body.html and a little help from my friends, Andrea and Joe! :-)
I love HTC!

Hi Joan,
I haven't done much of anything except promote through www.healthy-living-for-moms.com . I've gotten retail sales through there, pretty big ones. I've posted my HTC link on my profiles in various forums but I don't think that's been as effective as my site promotion.

Hi Joan -
Appreciate the question!
I think what's working particularly well about this comp plan (and in turn the marketing of the tea) is that it's built on the assumption that even people who WANT to build an income stream often never sponsor more than 2 or 3 people. Ever.
This manifests as a BIG problem and very little payout for 'the little people' in most companies.
In the case of the Holy Tea Club what that means is that if everyone who joins brings two new regular customers to the company (and that's it!), everyone profits via passive income eventually. Everyone.
In the meantime, the company offers free retail websites where you can either send people to buy on their own or enter their information yourself (for people who don't have a credit card or Internet access). This gives you appx 20% profit towards your income each time they purchase. Another perk is that their purchase counts as if your bought it yourself -- increasing your personal volume.
But that is not what's driving this company. Ultimately what's driving this company is that people are appreciating the product -- and appreciating it enough to share it with other people in their lives.
And none of this is about marketing in the way that you asked.... not meaning to be vague :-/
Here's the way that I have *marketed* Holy Tea to date -- the same way that I market everything -- by building relationships, listening to people, helping them in whatever way I can and seeking to be a problem solver.
I'm in this for more than just the individual sales.... I want long term friendships and partnerships where everyone "wins". Nothing beats that kind of loyalty for long term business/income stibility.
Think about how you and I have come to know each other. First through a networking group here on Cafemom that I started so I could find other people like me to share ideas with ... and the connection has expanded and will continue to deepen for as long as we find ways to add value and appreciate each other.
This is another reason that the 2 or 3 or 5 "partners" is an important detail to recognize and embrace -- how many people can we really have connections like this with and do the friendships justice?
Hope this doesn't sound too flakey ??
Did I even answer the question? lol .... I'll have to re-read :-p
Appreciate you!

Thanks everyone for participating in this post! Several of the folks I've shared the tea with have been folks I like working with and have had a relationship with. A couple others are people that I've met through online business swapping groups. I offer a week of the tea for trade, they try it, like it and order for themself.
In all cases for me, it seems to work best with those that I have a connection with and have gotten to know on some level.
Honestly, none of us are outshining anyone in regards to sharing the product. A little bit of effort by a growing group of people is making us an increasing income. It truly is a great business model, different from so many others.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I totally agree in marketing through establishing relationships. That's one of the ways I often get involved with a product-someone I know and trust recommends it.
this group is great for support too and bouncing ideas off of.
I made my first sale this weekend. Someone who found me through an unknown source and bought a sample. Now I'm trying to forge a relationship with that person at least by letting her know I'm there for questions, etc. I sent her a link to this group also.

I just had to share this little story about the tea and how easy it is to do this business.
I got a call yesterday from someone who wanted to order the tea for a second time but didn't know how to do it on the internet. She had found my free HTC web site on the internet and ordered the first time but didn't know how to do it the second time.
I took her order over the phone (pretty easy on the retail part of the site), entered her info and got an email in minutes confirming the order.
What was amazing to me about this was that she found me at all the first time. Apparently someone at church had told her about the tea and she came home, did a search on the internet and my web site came up. More amazing to me is that she kept her invoice and called me when she wanted to order again.
Oh, by the way, she and her husband are both drinking the tea so she ordered a 2 month supply! They love it; but don't want to join the business. They just want to drink the tea! And that's okay with me.
Now all I have to do is get them on autoship! :-)
