My tea came in the mail yesterday, and I am going to start it tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. I read all the testimonials on here.

I will be posting daily thoughts and comments about my experience with the tea starting tomorrow.

Here's to improving my health!

Great Stacie - thanks for letting us know!

Sure am excited about you journaling your experience regularly. Have 'pinned' this thread to the top section of the group so we can all follow along :)

So you'd say that the order/delivery part of this went well? (since we're beginning at the beginning ;-)

Appreciate you!
Happy day!

Andrea

My First Day Using Holy Tea

I heated one quart of water on the stove last night, let it cool a bit, and steeped one tea bag overnight. This morning I poured that tea into a gallon jug and filled it to the gallon mark with water.

The directions say to use two tea bags per gallon of water, but I want to start out slow so I don't shock my sensitive system.

At lunch today I drank 8 oz. It tasted fine. It was a little weak, since it's just one tea bag in a gallon of water and I usually leave my green tea bag in my two cups of water.

At dinner I drank another 8 oz. It doesn't have as much taste since I'm used to strong tea, but at least it's not a bad taste. I'm sure when I start making a gallon with 2 tea bags it will be tastier.

I don't haven't experienced any symptoms.  I haven't been going to the bathroom any more than usual, but it's only the first day.  I'll write again tomorrow.

Love this blow-by-blow format -- it'll be such a valuable addition in the long run (short run too <grin>).

Just want to clarify on amounts here -- since Stacie has gone with a 1/2 dilution (ie. 1 bag to 1 gallon of water when prepared) -- this day's amount of 8oz glasses of tea was actually equal to 4oz (at lunch and dinner) as if it were prepared per standard directions.

Good to know that this way was gentle enough for your system since you were already aware that you could be challenged in this area -- nothing worse than turning someone off by having them detox too quickly!

I think you'll find that it's never a super 'strong' tea -- it's very mellow ... I find it quite refreshing/pleasant tasting and for me, it's gentle the regular way too.

Super cool to be able to honor the fact that everyone's body is at it's own *place*, eh?

Appreciate you!

Make it a great day,
Andrea

I add a couple drops of stevia to my tea when I drink it. Stevia is a natural plant sweetener with zero calories.

Nice that you're keeping us posted! I had to dilute my husbands a bit too as he is pretty "sensitive". He is now asking me for the tea to drink tho, esp after eating too much on Easter weekend!

Day 2 - My Holy Tea Detox

I am now thinking that I could have handled making the full dose of Holy Tea. I only used one tea bag per gallon when I made it.

It has not affected me negatively in any way. I have not had tummy gurgling, bloat or discomfort. So today I had 12 oz. at lunch and 12 oz. at dinner, instead of the recommended 8 oz.  Still no trouble. I warmed it up slowly in a pot on the stove, since your not supposed to microwave it. It is good both warm and cold.

I ordered a month's supply today. If it comes before next week, I will try using 2 bags per gallon. Today I also signed up to become a member.

I have noticed that even after only 2 days, my bowel movements are improving, and feel more energetic.

Day 3 of Holy Tea

I had 12 oz. of Holy Tea at lunch and dinner.  I am looking forward to making it with both tea bags next week.  Even my VERY sensitive system doesn't experience any discomfort or bloat from drinking the tea.

Today I did experience a mild headache when drinking it, but I know that is common when detoxing.  It just lets me know it is working, flushing those toxins out of my body.  I have a feeling there are many toxins in my body, so I am commiting to this.  I am very ready to improve my health.

Now I just need to overcome my sugar addiction!

Good job Stacie!

Also, good moment to remind us all to drink PLENTY of water especially while detoxing. Water is what aids everything to exit. What doesn't exit *can* be reabsorbed -- don't want that :-o!

And if you get too uncomfortable -- just dial it back a little for a day or so.

There is no 'right' way -- only 'your' way that's right for you ;-)

Make it a great evening!

Andrea

Day 4 Of My HOLY TEA Detox

I had 12 oz. at lunch and dinner. Right after I finished drinking it, I had a BM. I got another headache - not a bad one, but noticeable. I know that often happens when detoxing.  I was reminded that when doing a detox, one needs to drink plenty of water, so I have been trying to remember to do that.

I have high hopes for this detox.  Here is a list of all the things it is supposed to help with...

  • take inches off their belly and reduce fat everywhere (without dieting or giving up any favorite foods)
  • feel more energy and enjoy life more
  • restore mental clarity and improve memory diminished by too many toxins in the blood
  • get relief from allergies and hay fever
  • clean out pharmaceutical or recreational drug residues and heavy metals
  • clean out nicotine and second-hand smoke deposits
  • assist with a stop smoking program
  • keep the colon, kidneys, liver, and lungs healthy and clean
  • improve digestion and absorption of nutrients
  • help detoxify chemicals created by parasites, fungi, yeast, and bad bacteria in the colon and digestive tract
  • remove parasites such as worms and flukes from the colon
  • help remove toxins from the blood, organs, and entire digestive system
  • restore the natural balance of 80% probiotic bacteria to 20% yeast, to improve digestion and assimilation of nutrients
  • restore regularity and reduce auto-intoxification
  • end constipation, hard stools, and hemorrhoids
  • help relieve digestive ailments such as Acid Reflux (GERD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohn's Disease, Diverticulitis, Colitis
  • clear skin conditions and body odor caused by internal toxins being excreted through sweat glands
  • have skin which is healthy, soft, and younger-looking
  • aid in reducing high LDL cholesterol and hypertension

I need help with MANY of these things!
