I think I've become immune to the tea! Maybe TMI

Usually when I drink holy tea, it flushes out my system within 2 hours but lately I've been constipated and the tea isn't doing hardly anything!

I've been drinking the tea for over 6 months now.

Have any of you experienced this???

I've experienced that as well.  I heard that you can bump up your intake, which I never tried.  I took a break for a bit, then went back to drinking it and it was useful again.  I've wondered if perhaps the proportions of herbs were slightly different in that batch?

What do others think?

Grin TMI indeed <lol>...

Hi Omayra - been wondering about you! Glad you're here :)

My feeling is that our bodies need to rest from anything were're doing from time to time.

Have you been using it daily for 6 mos? Or just to get a 'flush' *sometimes* Or ??

I've found that what works for me is to take a week off when I seem to be 'stalling' so to speak and that works wonders. But maybe you've already done that?

It would be good to know what your tea habits have been so we can think this through with you better.

Recognize though that everyone's body is different and our trial and error may or may not  be  what works for you in the end, right?

And Trina's right - more is a choice too -- especially if you seem to want more -- I'm not allthat precise about how much I drink any given day -- I pour myself a glass when I want one.

Could very well be that there is some variation from batch to batch too since we're dealing with crops and blends of herbs.

There's also the variable of your diet to pop in there somewhere... ?

Sort of a non-answer post huh ..... hope that's okay? ;-)

I appreciate you!

I agree with Andrea. I think it's still important to eat a healthy diet full of fiber...fruits and veggies, of course. Also, stress can sometimes cause us problems with regularity and just being on a different schedule. I know that when I travel, it doesn't matter how much tea I've drank, I slow down a lot.

It's possibility that the particular batch I'm drinking has something to do with it. There have been times I've been taking it on and off. For about a week I stopped taking it cause I had diarrhea. I try to have a high fiber diet.

Yeah, there really are so many factors that could play in to it - for me, I had been drinking the tea for about 6 weeks during the last stint of my pregnancy, had the baby, and that day it changed how it was working for me.   Could definitely be linked to hormonal/chemistry changed within your body, stress or ???   I was back on track after I took a break though.  And nowadays I drink as desired without a real schedule and not overdoing it.
