About Mom's with fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue syndrome

At 3 am this morning, like almost every other morning at that time, I awaken with a surge of energy and pain. I suffer from fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue since I am in my 20's. This has to be one of the most frustrating, misunderstood ailments to have to deal with. This ailment has many moods. It affects your body with pain, inflammation, stiffness, IBS, insomnia, headaches, anxiety, pleurisy, allergies, etc. It's a horrible thing to have to deal with on a daily basis. I have been accused by family members and others of being lazy, a hypochondriac, a psycho, etc., because I don't look sick and really, this ailment is just starting to become recognized as not psychological but very real bu the medical society. Fibromyalgia affects everyone, even children and both male and females. It occurs usually after a trauma such a car accidents, surgeries, (for me it was tremendous stress and I also had Guillianne barre syndrome in 1994 which probably eventually assisted this poison in my body to grow into this daily nightmare I have to deal with). It is very difficult for me to function everyday being a mother of three (two teenage girls and a 3 year old boy), being a wife, and keep my head up high, and deal with what life has to throw at me, all the while dealing with the symptoms, stated above, on a daily basis. I am not writing this to whine about it. I am writing this in hopes of being able to help others who suffer from the same problem know that they are not alone. Only others with this affliction called fibromyalgia/cfids can truly understand the effects this has on you and everyone else around you.
