I'm in desperate need of a female friend. I have friends but they're
the complete opposite of me. I'm almost 20 and am getting married next
year and trying to get pregnant while all of my friends are busy
partying, getting wasted and etc. I've never had any interest in that
sort of stuff and am just in desperate need of a friend who is on the
same level as I am. I have my mom and sister, we're very close and my
fiance' is amazing but sometimes I just need a friend who I can talk
things out with that isn't any of them. Someone that I can just vent to
when needed.
Can anyone help me out?
By the way, I'm from Westborough moving to Worcester soon...I hope.
This probably isn't the best forum for you....have you tried FaceBook? There are groups for young/single/soon-to-be married/no kids yet, but trying types like yourself...You'll see that when you DO have kids, that people will come out of the wood work at playgroups (say: Gymboree, local library, the Y etc)
^there are no groups for young single soon to be married no kids yet trying to conceive types on facebook. And most people our age tend to AVOID gymboree for fear of the older mothers judgment, since its constant in this state. feel free to pm. me im in belmont not that close to worcester but im 21 with a 28 month old im a sahm and was in your position three years ago with my hubs too :)

I agree. THIS actually, IS the place to come for such a thing...
I also agree with the fear of judgment by 'older' moms. I'm 26 w/ 3 kids. I'm sure it looks bad. BUT, I'm married. Same dad to all 3 kids. I'm a SAHM. Not living off gov't., mind you. Doing pretty good!!
I'm very fortunate to be at home, as MOST people my age don't usually get to stay at home. AND, therfore most SAHMs are older. It's hard!!
Anywho, I'm here. PM me. I'm north of Worcester in Gardner, about 45mins.
Good Luck TTC!
