I've been here a week now, and only just realised I hadn't posted this.
I am located in Sydney, Australia with my husband of 25 years (still stunned we did it) with our two young teenagers. We took a bit of time out after getting married to see the world and emigrate from South Africa.
The children, one of each, are now in high school (the upper parts of junior high for USA peeps) so more free time is opening up. They are pretty normal children with their own gifts and dramas.
My favourite things are doing cross stitch, reading - the last John Le Carre was a disappointing and The Road was so depressing, cooking up a storm occasionally (everyday is so blah though), being with the family and working from home.
I was lucky enough to find a job that I loved early in our marriage, computer programming. I was even luckier to find avenues to continue it as a work-at-home mum, after a couple of detours.
I look forward to seeing everyone around.
