About Natural Living Families of Nassau County

I am a mother of 2 young children (one is 3 and one is 7 months), and my husband and I always seek out places to go as a family that are more simple, less costly and closer to nature. We go to the farm, fruit picking, petting zoos, beaches, hikes, and in all sorts of weather...We also try to teach natural sciences though these outings, such as animals characteristics, habits, insects, and the list goes on. In addition we seek to eat healthier and through that teach about taking care of ourselves and others in our world.

I would love to meet other families that have these same tendencies towards the natural world, no matter how varied it might be.
