A good friend of mine is having problems with spirits in her house. She was advised to do a smuging. Is there a certain way she should do this?

I use white sage bundle. First leave door or window a little open so the negativity can go out of the house. Then get your white sage bundle is what I use to smudge every room. Don't forget to get every corner in the rooms. I buy the white sage bundle at my friends pagan shop.
