My nephew is now 3 years old and was born with very severe club foot.  My sister has gone through multiple casting, bracing, and now he has to have surgery.  I am hoping to find some people with suggestions or similiar stories.  I only got a brief synopsis of the surgery he is going to have to have, so when I find out more, I will see if anyone has some info!  All the moms who have had to go through the castings and bracing deserve a metal!

I agree.  When my son got his first casts I balled my eyes out cause he was crying and I couldn't comfort him.  He was just a newborn and had to have big bulky casts on.  It was heartbreaking.

You just have to tell yourself that it is for the best.  He adjusted really well though.  (thankgoodness)

What kind of surgery are they going to give your nephew?  Did they ever clip his tendons when he was younger?

Sorry I'm not more help
