I just wanted to share my success with my daughters new brace. We were originally given the DBB and Markell shoes- we instantly had blistering problems (which even the ortho couldn't fix) and of course a fussy baby. I researched and decided to order the Dobb's brace. I am so happy I did! Her blisters are completely gone and she is such a happier baby! She seems much more comfortable and has more freedom to move around. I highly recommend this brace to anyone that has problems with their childs brace giving blisters or just being uncomfortable. Here is a link to the website  http://dobbsbrace.com/ Just thought I would share~

we switched from the DBB to the Dobbs last September when I son was 12 months. All the sudden he started screaming in his sleep, so we got the Dobbs, we are still using the Markell shoes though. We are very happy with it!

I have a few questions, how much does this brace cost? Would it help with the red rubbed spots on the top of my sons feet? He never cries about them, but won't let me touch them and fights me trying to wash his feet during his baths. We are on such a tight budget, but I want my son to be as comfortable as possible. He went through the casts and brace as an infant, but due to miscomunication and some technical oopsies we had to start from scratch when he was 18 months old. He's 20 months now and is 24/7 in the brace...hope that changes to just when sleeping soon. I am planning to talk to his orthopedist about the Dobbs brace during our appointment next week, he is a great doctor and only works on children. I am hoping that his clinic could possibly switch to the new brace so no more babies have to deal with the pain of the old one.
