I was without a computer for a year and have had a lot of life circumstances hit me at once. It's been a year or more since i've been on here. But i'm very excited to be back and me more involved. Harley is doing pretty good as far as his club feet. The doctors were surprised that he hasn't given me that hard of a time with the bar brace untill recently. He will be 3 on the 28th. And he gets a new type of shoe on Thursday so we are pretty excited. We have noticed though that he's having problems in the last week and I hope it's not a regression. He says his shoes hurt so we've put them on him less and the other day he was limping saying his feet hurt. I'll be using the brace again every night until he gets his new shoes Thursday. It seems that once he's awake for an hour and get his feet stretched out, he walks normal. I sure hope I haven't let him regress while waiting for the new shoes. Can't wait for them!
I too have not been online for quite a while! My son is 2 1/2 and doing well. He has great balance because of his shoes lol. He walks in them and laughs when he falls. He is wearing them only at night but he hasn't complained about them. He does get mad when it's time to put them on because he knows that means time for bed haha, but what child wants to go to bed when told :). We see the doctor every 6 months now and the last time we went, the doctor was very happy about his feet. It does seem that my son is flat footed. I don't know if the arch will grown in with time (the doctor seems to think so) but he doesn't complain about his feet hurting or anything like that. He loves to run and ride his bike. He is a very active child. We will be going back in September to the Dr. but we will be getting bigger shoes within the next couple months since my son's feet grow so fast lol. Hope everyone is doing well!!
