Hi Ladies!

I wanted to share something with you that our team at Ambit Energy teaches all of it's consultants.  This is good for ANY consultant or associate with ANY company if you market online.

This works if you use an autoresponder like AWeber to get leads.  For example, with my business Ambit Energy my team set me up with a capture page to get leads.  My link is:

www.energyandearn.com/roz

If you click on that link, it will take you to my page and when you fill out the form, I'll see in my AWeber account your information that you put in and and the link above will show me that you clicked on that link to get to my capture page.  (A capture page is simply a one page website that is made specifically for "capturing" leads...It usually has bold lettering and is quick and to the point, and it has to have a form for people to fill out their contact information)

An Autoresponder service usually has templates for you to create your own capture page.  For $19 a month I'm getting avg. 50 leads, and I hardly advertise.  These are leads specifically interested in MY home business, not generic leads that you buy that usually end up not interested in your business.  AWESOME!!!!

But lets say I advertise in a bunch of places...If I don't use a tracking code I never know what leads clicked on what ad to get to my capture page!  Without that information I won't know which ads are working and which aren't.  So anywhere I advertise I include a custom tracking link so I know where people are clicking on my ad.

Here's what you do:

Let's say that I want to track who clicks on the link above and fills out the form for this post...what I would do then is type whatever my ad is and give people this link:

www.energyandearn.com/roz/?MBFM

The part after my name roz is the tracking code.../?MBFM.  You can use anything you want here after you put /?.  My upline who taught me this often uses the date and she keeps a notebook on her desk that shows what ad she put out there on what date.  So when she gets a lead from let's say /?803, 803 stands for the ad she put out today, August 03, 2008.  She has told me that someone held on to her ad for 6 months before they entered their info into her capture page - so that is good info to have!

If you have any questions about this please post and I'll answer them!  I hope this helps you guys with your online marketing!!!

BTW, I did get at ad at the Momsbuyingfrommoms.com fourm with Brigitte, the owner of that forum and this group - and I have received 26 leads from her past ad campaign she did that included my ad.  She usually does a few email blasts a month....

26 leads!!!  That's incredible!!!!

The $10/month for adspace on her forum is totally worth it to me!!!

Of your 26 leads, how many converted to sales for you?

Cheers!

Good question!!    This campaign was just done a few days ago so no conversions yet.  I'm not one to make a decision quickly, especially  when deciding to start a home business so I wouldn't expect these leads to do the same.

But what is fantastic for me is what I was doing before I got in this campaign got me on average 1 lead every two days.  This was much more successful and I'm eager to see what happens in the next few weeks!

Don't worry Anna, I've found something similar to what you've got on your website.  I've just started this training - you know, getting the leads to come to you :)  It totally makes sense; So I look forward to seeing what that training does for me and these awesome leads that Brigitte got for me!!

Thanks...please keep me posted...I have 2 network marketing companies, one with a good product and a great lead source, the other with a great product and no lead source...so I'm looking for a lead source for the second company. I originally came to Cafe Mom with the idea in mind of advertising my second product for a "Wellness Co," but I can see from the existing adds that so many people are advertising the same product.

Cheers!
