How Did 'the Living Word' of God Get Passed Down From God??

John 1

The Eternal Word

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The 'Word' of God was from the beginning, it existed before we were. The plan of salvation thru Christ was from the beginning. Why? we may ask then did God carry out His plan knowing that man would fall to temptation? Because God's Love & Mercy and the fact that He wants to spend eternity in relationship with us. He's our maker and saver.

So where did His plan begin? It began at the beginning, recorded by Moses. The first five books of the Bible are God's words to Moses for the people. For everyone to follow and not fall short. However, how did the generations before Moses know God? How did they keep their relationship going all those years?

From the chart in the link below you can see that Adam, who walked with God in the Garden of Eden lived til Lamech, Noah's father, was born. However Enoch also walked with God and this was Noah's grandfather. The 'word' of God could have been easily passed down these 10 generations before the flood.

There is also a book of Enoch which was not included in the Buble. The link below tells some history and of ancient's using the book of Enoch.

Also on this page is the link at the bottom of the page to access the Book of Enoch to Read:

The book of Enoch actually fills in some gaps that we don't see in the bible. Things that answer many of our questions today.

A page of the Ethiopic text of the "Book of Enoch" (British Museum MS. Orient. No. 485, Fol. 83b) containing a description of one of Enoch's visits to heaven, and how the archangel Michael took him by the hand and showed him the mysteries of heaven.
