Hi-

I have taken Dilantin & Mysoline now since age 14 years, I am also seizure now for 22 years. Neurology started me out at dilantin 100mgs 3 times a day and mysoline 250 mgs 3 times a day. As of January I come off the dilantin totally and then will only be on mysoline 250 mgs 2 times a day. They tried keppra with me and it just didn't work. Talk with the Neurologist and tell him/her what I told you. They use dilantin for all kinds of things one being for MS this I know for fact as my MIL took it. Don't let them tell you just because this is a old med it doesn't work I know way better..I feel great and not afraid now to drive or anything..
