Bromeliads

I purchased a bromeliad a few months ago - I believe it was late summer.  I realize that I really don't know much about it.  I need to know I guess how to start new ones from it since the parent plant is now dying.  Does anyone know anything about the care of these plants?  I have looked up some stuff on them but I have come to no conclusions on what I really need to do with it.   Any advice would be most helpful.  Thanks gals!

No, I can' t find anything on the tag that came with it that tells another name for it.  It is also very vague on the care of them.  I wish they would put more info on the taggies sometimes :)

I found some information on propogation...or multiplication of your house plant.

I am giving you the link to that info but if you look around the site you might find some more info about the further care.

I know what you mean about the tags I have to agree!
