OK ladies, here is the deal. Last year I bought some bulbs: Mixed Callas, Freesias, and some Ostrich Ferns and Bleeding Hearts. My little boy became very ill and I did not get them planted. Can I plant them now and will they live or is it too late???? I spent quite a bit on them and hate to loose them, does any one know? I live in zone 6. Thanks ladies.

The callas and freesias most likely wont make it. They are not cold hardy unless we have a warm winter and you mulch them good. But go ahead anyway, you may get some blooms before winter comes, and if you want to dig them up and store them, or just plant them in pots and move them indoors or in a protected garage, that might work also.

They were stored last winter in a vacant apartment that my daughter moved out of. I hope they will live. I quess it is worth a try I think I will put them in some of the pots I bought for my daughters wedding. I have like 20 of them. Then move them into the basement when winter comes. Thanks
