***If Ron Paul doesn't file as a write-in--*** Who will you vote for ? (Poll)
So with Ron Paul's campaign suspended, I was wondering where everyone's placing their support. As jestover pointed out, some states do not allow write-ins, others will not allow candidates who lost in the primary to file as a write-in (http://mfoster.com/misc/write-in_rules_2008.html)
********So... for the sake of this poll, let's assume that Ron Paul DOES NOT file as a write-in candidate***********-- (or your state doesn't allow write-ins) how will you be voting?

It's a toss up between Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin.
Our Totalitarian government has, by stealthy encroachment, taken our basic rights away and is forcing us to buy them back as privileges, permits, and licenses. This is NOT freedom.

That's how I feel too! Is Barr pro-life or pro-choice? That's pretty much the only difference I can come up with between them. Any other differences?
Barr is personally pro-life, while the Libertarian Platform address the issue of abortion as follows:
Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.
While the Libertarian and Constitution Parties agree on many issues, there is a major difference. The Libertarian Party Platform follows the tradition of separation of church and state, whereas the Constitution party incorporates religion into their platform (a practice which concerns me)

I will defeinetly be writting Dr. Ron Paul in!!!!! Go liberty!!!!!

Quoting mereksmommy:I'm not sure if people are reading the post. I don't think Ron Paul is going to file as a write-in. He has said that it wouldn't be very productive and I'm afraid he's probably right.

I met Chuck Baldwin today! He really sounds just like Ron Paul and I think he is my next choice.
Bob Barr voted for the Patriot Act and was (or is? I'm not sure) a strong supporter of the war on drugs.
