Hi ladies!  I've just joined the group but I wanted to share an idea that is widely growing around the internet...the write in campaign.

Anyone affiliated with any political party can write in anyone's name.

Let's pass the word and show the main stream media that even though they choose to ignore him, that we won't!

 Ron Paul  Cheerleader Toss 1

~Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it~

  • This is a foolish proposal.  Write-ins must register as write-ins or they will not be counted.  Ron Paul did not register himself as a write-in so any vote for him would indeed be a wasted vote.

  • Would be a good idea if the your vote would actually count. In most states it won't. There are two election laws (in most not all states) that prohibit this. One being in most places someone has to register as a write in candidate, and two a lot of states have laws that say if a person runs for their parties nomination and does not receive it they can't be a write in candidate. Be sure to consult with your board of elections, otherwise it may cancel out your ballot completely.

  • What is the point of this?  If your vote is not even counted who does that benefit?  You will not be promoting Liberty by wasting your vote that way.

  • I have to agree with this. If you know your vote won't be counted, it's as good as staying home and not voting. May as well save your gas, if that's the case.

  • you say what will it help? perhaps it might wake up our officials that we are getting stronger every day against their bullshit tactics and that we want to go back to making the vote count.

it might make the rest of america note that most of us women are sick and tired of the government being run by money money money and those who are corrupt already.

Mr Ron Paul should be our president, he deserves it, but he would not allow big money to corrupt him.  If we all write in Ron Paul - it will make America take note that voters are sick and tired of the candidates they are given to vote for if nothing else.

If our vote won't count anyway then just going out and voting for someone who we feel deserves to run this country will start a stir that might do some good eventually - its called planting a seed.
