Names Brooke. Am a struggling writer (aren't we all) and I'm a mother of two girls. My eldest is also a writer. I write mostly childrens fantasy stories, not to much of a poet but have tried a few. I write because I need a release. I have all of these wonderful plots and characters running around in my head that I'd go insane if they didn't find a home outside my head. Also because I love to see my childrens faces light up when they know that one of the characters is them. Can't wait to meet more writers like myself.
Thanks |

Hi Brooke! I'm so glad you found us! I can't wait to read some of your stories, I've done a couple of children's books as well. You're welcome to show off your daughter's work, two of my youngins are writers, they are itching to have someone other than me read them :o)
I don't think I could breath if I couldn't write. It's the only way I know how to release and retain my sanity! I hope you post something soon ~ Crystal |

Hello everyone...I write because I like to express myself. Whether it is a mood, a feeling, an experience or whatever. I really enjoy it but tend to keep it to myself. I look forward to sharing some of my "work". Sorry, I can't post a photo...I am out of town and using a library computer.

by qwietpleez on Feb. 8, 2007 at 2:24 PMWELCOME jamie91141 ~ Thank you for joiningI'm so glad you joined :o) I am looking forward to reading your work, I still tend to keep much of my writing to myself too. I suppose in a small way that is why I decided to try this as a group. We can give each other the confidence we need to believe in ourselves and in our writing . . . See ya soon! |

o.k. o.k!! it's high time I stop being shy and stop the worrying of what you all might think when i write something. if you have not read before, my names mari. I have loved writting since I was a little girl. Writting is a way of expression. I feel it helps me to cope with the trials I have experienced in my life time. (still working on this part) I have said before that it makes me feel free and iam at piece w/ myself. my writting for me is a thought process.(writers block) Bare w/me as I hope to post something very soon.

by qwietpleez on Feb. 8, 2007 at 2:42 PMtrenneaciaWe'll be here when your ready :o) I think most of us have gotten through many of the trials in our life through our writing, even if no one else ever reads it, we find healing in it. Don't ever worry what anyone here will think! The best part about this kind of group is that we've all experienced many of the same highs and lows in our writing and hopefully we can help each other rise up during the lows and rejoice during the highs . . . I hope to read something from you soon! |

For those of who who do not know me, my name is Courtney. I write because... Well, I write because that is what I do. I enjoy it immensely, and others seem to enjoy it as well. Which makes it all worthwhile.
I am looking forward to getting to know each of you. |

i write because i must express myself somehow, and sometimes, that's all there is. i dangle my participles frequently and although i notice it (and poke fun at my silliness), i usually just leave them hanging. hope it doesn't bug ya! i prefer thick black ink on parchment or an extrememly sharp pencil, but i have been able to focus on the words and not the spelling mistakes on the computer lately and just mop up the spelling at the end, so i' m writing more rather than writing and then copying. hope to get some good critiquing. dh & i are writing a book about parenting, but then who isn't these days?? |

Hi:) My name is Rebecca, I'm from Ontario, Canada. I have been writing poetry on and off since I was 13. I stopped for most of my 20's and have just picked up the pen again in the last 4-6 months. I am part of another writer's group on Yahoo as well. I love feedback both positive and negative. It helps me perfect my craft and grow as a writer. I hope to get brave and start writing stories at some point because of the imagination I have. i look forward to sharing:)
