There's this man that is so perfect and so sweet

With his rich, dark chocolate skin, feeling like

silk to the touch of my fingertips

His arms wrap around me like a cocoon sheltering me, protecting me

so perfectly matched,

His lips so full and sweet

Every kiss like an overly delicious treat.

He compliments me.

Everything fits just right.

He's my better half.

I am so madly in love with this man.

Everything he does sends tremors through my heart.

Why he chose me, I can't say.

Why he showers me with praise

Why he loves me more every day;

Why he plans to stay,

I just don't understand.

I question it every day
