the kind of names i need are ones that were at one time very common but aren't anymore, like winifred, gail, gloria, arthur, names like that. this is for a story i am working on and those are the names i want to put in it, just as many classic names as i can.

That's too funny  :o) Here I was trying hard not to repeat myself! Harrison was actually on the list for our boys. We went with Wilson, Matthew & Michael. My daughter's name is Angela.

I love the older names, I think they are great for my characters, it gives them another level of dimension a regular, common name wouldn't.

My name could even be on the list, Crystal  :o)
