well this is my first post on cafe mom.....and just joined. mainly looking for advice on the current situation im in so id greatly love to have opinions and help from many of you:] and hoping not to be critisized or be given rude comments, thanks!

so this is my current situation....ive been taking birth control for three months so far...and i had missed two pills which were both my first and second pills of the pack meaning ther very beginning ones and yes the active ones. and i had unprotected sex on the ones that i missed. and i did not miss them on purpose i just was not able to pick up my prescription...but as i was saying i missed those pills...and called a nurse and questioned about it and she said a had a chance of pregnancy because of the missed pills. but i continued taking them and it was too late to take an oral contraceptive. and its currently the eleventh day on my pack and the eleventh day of when i had sex. and im not sure if if i had implantation bleeding or not but i had it the tenth day and it was a brownish slightly red/pink and VERY light wiped once and wiped twice and it was gone and only came once that day. then today i had cramps but it only came twice once and then five minutes later. and i never have cramps before my period. and my period is two weeks away. Also had an increase in discharge a milky white color. been having it for about a week. and been feeling nauseated for about four days now...but i know it can be too early to feel that, but thats what ive been feeling. i feel ok in the morning then when afternoon hits i get tired and take naps. and then cant sleep at night. But...thats about the most info for now...and im hoping somebody can give me some insight and tell me if they have any opinions on whats going on that would be greatly appreciated;]

Well, it sounds like one of two things is going on. Sometimes, when you think you *might* be pregnant, symptoms or things you might not notice otherwise become much more notable because you have it in your head that you might be pregnant. Or, you actually are pregnant. Not everyone has implant bleeding, I didn't. Nor does everyone have cramping--again, I didn't. So you could definitely have those things and not be pregnant, or you could have them, and be pregnant. So put more simply, either you are, or you aren't.

It's too early to tell with a test at this point. If I were you, I would wait a solid 2 weeks, perhaps 3 and take a pregnancy test. Until that time, refrain from alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, all that stuff, just to be on the safe side. I would also take vitamins...easily bought at the grocery store, until you know you are in the clear. That way, if it turns out that you are pregnant, you know that you have done everything in your power from the moment you suspected the pregnancy, to keep the baby safe. I have many friends who still regret drinking before they knew they were pregnant, and various other things. So I always say better safe than sorry. Good luck!!

Yes you have a chance you could be PG.  One question for you....Are you still taking the pill?  If you are and you think that is a chance you are PG I would stop the pills NOW.  The pill could cause damage to the fetus.  Use a condom until you have a period and you start on your next pack of pills.
