We just found out on Wednesday that we are having a boy. My husband was suprised at first then he started thinking of everything that we have to get before November now. Our first child was a daughter and everything that we have is girly- purple/lavender room, crib bedding with butterflies on them, dresses, girly clothes. You get the idea! It was the first girl my mother N law was able to buy for and she went crazy.
Why don't you get a baby shower for the second child if it is a different sex then the first. It would help out tremendiously.

	by LilMikeyMama on Jul. 18, 2008 at 4:46 PM COngratulations!! I too am having a different sex than my first and secretly wish I could have another shower since all I have are boy clothes and toys. But in my family adn In Laws a second shower is a no-no since it seems like you are asking for more gifts. I always belived that too but it would be helpful. I did save all of the big things...stroller, swing etc and will use all of them again not to waste money
