My house is old & it sucks.  We have paneling (not painted) in the laundry room.  Behind the dryer they just cut out a section of the paneling for the hoses & stuff, and since it's an addition cold air used to just blow through there.  So we stapled heavy plastic over the hole.  HOW can i cover that up?  It's so ugly.  I was thinking about fabric but that seems even uglier.  Any suggestions?  It doesn't go down the whole way to the floor, it's just maybe 12" x 24" or so... so if I did rig up some sort of fabric it wouldn't actually be BEHIND the dryer, just the top part of it where the knobs are.

A curtain?  It would be cheap and easy. Plus it won't look as bad as just a  random piece of fabric thrown up on the wall.
