(Although I know that I have some stalkers here on cafemom (<3 yall) I wanted to show you my completed dining room)
I took the small space offered here in my joyous base house and turned it into a wonderful dining room!! I am very happy about all I accomplished and can't wait until we build our house so that I can incorporate what I've already done into a formal dining room of the same sort!!

As you can see it's a very small space however I think I made it work. I decided to go with black & red. I put down a black rug underneath the table and bought the table cloth & runner off ebay. The lazy susan came from Target as well as the salt & pepper shakers & the napkin holder. The curtains came from old time pottery and the neat thing about those is they are all in one meaning the valence is attatched!

This is the artwork I selected. I found it at Ross! It looks crooked in the picture but that is just the angle of the picture that I took LOL it really is straight. On the other wall I purchased one of those black cube things. I'm looking for awesome nicknacks to put in there.

I think this is my favorite new addition!! I bought an 1100 watt microwave (which rocks) I purchased a cereal dispenser which is awesome and of course the microwave cart itself which is great for extra cabinet space!!
All in all I LOVE my new dining room. The kitchen doesn't really have much to make over but I need some pictures & stuff to give it some pop!! I'll post when the kitchen is all finished
Wow, it looks so good. Good job! Love the cereal dispenser lol. I got to get one of those.
I love the cereal dispenser idea ha ha, my kids would love that. Where did you get it?
Looks great! I think I found the cereal dispenser the pp wanted on ebay...
