this is an old top to a hutch that my aunt had. she just wanted the base which she painted and added some glass to to hold her towels in her bathroom. i had the boys flip the top over and flip the doors over. so i had my ex build the little topper to it. i nailed it down and painted everything up. it has two shelves and holds her diapers and a bunch of blankets.

How creative.  Love repurposing pieces into something other than intended. When she outgrows it, simply turn it over and use it as a book case or display cabinet.

Professional interior decorator and organizer.

Great idea, don't forget to strap it to the wall, it looks a little top heavy!

it looks top heavy but the wood they used to build the hutch is much heavier than the wood that was used on the top. i have to try to knock it over with both hands. yes, i should strap it to the wall with an L bracket and i meant to but our trailer doesn't have studs to hit.

It looks great, you've totally transformed the hutch.

This may not be it's actual location but I noticed blinds behind the changing table.  You might consider getting cordless blinds- you do not want your child to get caught in the pull cord or the cords that lift and lower the blinds. Here's more info on window cord safety if you are interested http://www.baliblinds.com/safety/index.jsp.
