For some reason, I love decorating with sticks. Besides being free (or really cheap), I like the way they look. Idk, maybe I'm just strange;) Here are some pics of my stick "bouquets".

Lighted sticks this size would cost around $9 a bunch at the Christmas Tree Shop and around  $14 at a store like Kirklands. Has any one treid spray painting them?  I made a wish true for Thanksgiving.  Spray painted it gold and cut out leaves from scrap book paper then added gold highlights with a caligraphy pen.  I placed the tree on my buffet and as the day went on my guests wrote their wish/es on the leaf aand hung it on the tree.  At the end of the evening we each chose a leaf and read what was written on it.  Lots of words of wisdom!! LOL.

Thanks ladies! I like to hang small red Christmas balls on some or the sticks around Christmas time. The lights idea would be cute too.
