SecondRotation- www.secondrotation.com
Second Rotation promotes Reuse by Paying Cash for Cell Phones, Apple Laptops, Digital Cameras and Other Consumer Electronics--Now Adds Recycling
Waltham, MA – October 24, 2007 – SecondRotation, the safest and easiest destination on the Web for selling consumer electronics and gadgets, today announced it has expanded its service to recycle electronics that hold little or no market value. Since its launch, consumers around the world have called on SecondRotation to get cash for their Cell Phones, Digital Cameras, Apple Laptops and other gear. Now these same people can turn to Second Rotation to recycle older products, keeping even more unwanted electronics out of landfills.
“Since day one we’ve had great success focusing on Reuse – buying people’s unwanted gadgets and putting them into the hands of someone who still values them,” said Rousseau Aurelien, CEO of SecondRotation. “The same users that sold us their old gear have asked for our help in keeping even more materials out of landfills via the second of the environmental triad – Recycle – and we’ve listened. We’re truly excited to offer a service that further extends people’s ability to live a green lifestyle.”
On a daily basis, SecondRotation sifts through millions of online sales transactions for pre-owned gadgets to determine product values, and to identify products that are recyclable. Once a consumer identifies their recyclable product on SecondRotation.com, they can ship it for free in a box with another product they are looking to sell, or pay to ship it on their own. With the addition of recyclable products, SecondRotation now tracks over 6,000 electronic products that it helps to keep out of landfills.

PlanetPals- http://www.PlanetPals.com
A long time ago there was this planet with land and water and creatures that live on it.
Among the many creatures, were people like you.
As you can imagine, the number grew and they grew... | | |
 | They built houses from trees that they could live in,and ate food from packages made of paper and tin.
They made all kinds of objects that helped them go far; like planes, and trucks, and trains, and cars.
They built highways, and buildings, and bridges galore and made gadgets, machines and so very much more!
The planet became crowded with so little space and always something new to take over each place.
Where nature once flourished, was covered with stuff Then along came the Planetpals and said "This is enough!"

Look at this planet, it's under such stress! If we make changes now, we will avoid a big mess.
If you lend us a hand, we will all work together. We'll be Planetpals and make our world better.

BAN- www.ban.org
BAN works to prevent the globalization of the toxic chemical crisis. We work in opposition to toxic trade in toxic wastes, toxic products and toxic technologies, that are exported from rich to poorer countries. Alternatively, we work to ensure national self-sufficiency in waste management through clean production and toxics use reductions and in support of the principle of global environmental justice -- where no peoples or environments are dispro-portionately poisoned and polluted due to the dictates of unbridled market forces and trade.
