i think it depends on the state. where are you at? if your state has medical someone here will know

you have to get a reccomendation from a doctor, in every MMJ state, from there, you may have to register w/ the state.

Well I only use it recreationally. Pa isn't MMJ state yet. I just wondered where those who use it for medicnal purposes actually got their weed from. Like does it have to come from an approved source or something?

Where they get their weed from?? again depends on the state, though even the states that don't have legal dispensaries have them... either people grow their own, have a caretaker that grows for them, or they get it from a MMJ dispensary.
