Hi Ladies,

How were your experiences with this? I got it put in about 2 weeks ago. Honestly I feel like my mood has shifted in that short time and I am a lot hungrier. I need to lose weight not gain it. My stomach also has been hurting. I guess I should have researched it more before doing it. Because all the side effects I have been hearing about is making me want to get it taken out asap! Any help would be appreciated.

okay to be honest, i like it because i can't remember to take the pills and i dont like having to go ever 3 mths for a shot. In my eyes thats the best part about it once it put in you dont have to worrie for three years.

Now I have had mine since oct, 07..  I have had many thoughts bout going and having it taken out. When it was first put in my cycles was completely missed up. and still not completely right but better. I did have some mood swings but i deal with that on a daily bases anyway because of my depression, but it realy didnt seem to be wrose though.  I believe that if you dont have really badside afects or your cycle isnt completly out of wack that it's a good thing.

i have gained five pounds since i have had my baby (my fourth) he is now 6 months old. i got it in at my 6  week check up.

i eat in the middle of the night, WHICH I HAVE NEVER DONE IN MY LIFE.

my face is broken out horribly.

and i bled for five months.

I have had no problems. I know when I am about to start because I get really moody but I can manage to control myself. I got mine in August.

I am really thinking about getting the Implanon.  Did anybodies insurance pay for it or cover some of the cost because it is pretty expensive.........

yeah it does make you gain weight and it makes u bleed irregulary i got mine taken out 12-29-2008 and im 11 week prego which means i was prego on it
