I'm considering getting implanon because every other form of birth control I've used has given me crappy side effects. I know implanon has some, and the ones I'm most concerned about is moodiness and an everlasting period. So I guess what I'm wondering is: Knowing what you know now, would you recommend it, or do you think it should be used as a last resort?

I am completely happy with mine. I have a friend that is happy with hers. I know when I am about to start because I get very moody. I have never been able to tell when I am going to start. Now I do. The moodiness isn't a problem if you know how to control yourself just like any other time.
