What is your favorite thing about Omaha?
Being close to my family! I live across the street from my sister and her family and have for about 3 years! I get mixed reactions from this but I assure you it has been the best experience!
What is your favorite place to eat?
For us it is definitely Hector's mexican restuarant!
What is your favorite recreational spot?
I'd have to say if we go anywhere other than our backyard it would have to Mahoney State Park, so much to do!

Oak View
What is your favorite nightlife activity?
We really don't go out to bars much at all so I would have to say our get togethers in our neighborhood! We switch off who's house the parties at pretty much every weekend!

well I can't really answer any of those question because I just moved here 8 months ago and since then I had a baby and my husband left for Kuwait until further notice. Haven't had much time to get out there. I am in the Air Force as well as my husband. So working full-time and being the only parent of two is pretty time consuming. So what i think i need is some adult conversation every once in a while. sometime i just what to run away.

My favorite thing about Omaha is it just keeps growing. I have lived her my whole life and it amazes me see how much it has grown.
My favorite place to eat is Gorats. My Grandparents us to take us there every Friday night for dinner. It's just one of those places that just brings back good memories.
I don't actually have a favorite sport. Right now my son is into soccer, so that is what we focus on.
I shop @ Westroads still....
My favorite nightlife activity varies on the season. I do enjoy going to Legends bar with friends. In the summer my hubby and I meet up with friends and go on long Harley rides and just stop off where ever. I the winter I love to just stay at home and snuggle with the kiddos.

i was born here so all my mom's family is here, plus it is alot cheaper living than Colorado

Don't really know yet we have only been here about a year now and don't get out much

the Henry Doorly Zoo of course!

i am not much of a mall person, but usually its Westroads

right now...sleeping!! LOL gotta catch up on all the sleep i can cause in a few months i know im getting NONE! hehe

My favorite thing about Omaha would have to be the Zoo. I am addicted to animals.
I don't actually have a favorite place to eat. I'm a health buff and not too many places catore to my type.
My favorite recreational spot is the Zoo, of course.
I don't have a favorite mall. I have only recently found the joys of shopping. I have gone from a size 12 to a size 4, and now the size 4 are getting too big. I honestly love shopping now.
As for the night life, I have never actually had one. I don't drink and I have never bothered looking for a place to hang that doesn't serve alcohol. That and I have never had anyone to hang with.

I'm not really sure what my favorite thing is. Not to offend all of you Omaha lovers, but I really haven't warmed up to it yet- I hate the winter!!

My husband and I both love dancing! Well, he loves country dancing and I love all dancing, so we really just go to two-step. I don't know of any places other than Bushwackers (?) and Rednecks, and we don't really like Bushwackers. But then again, we don't get to go out very often.
Let me know what I am missing out on!
