We are actually having turkey and roast, black eyed peas, cornbread dressing, candid yams and green bean casserole.  Large crowd this year!  Hope everyone has a wonderful & blessed Thanksgiving!

Going to my MIL's for Thanksgiving this year. She is cooking the Ham, Turkey and Scaloped corn, I am making my famous deviled eggs to take over and my husbands grandmother is making the pumpkin pies. Once we get there I get cook everything else, because how hard is it to cook a ham and turkey. I have to make the mashed taters, the stuffing, and what ever else my MIL has bought. I couldn't convince her to come to my house sence I had to do the cooking I had to fight to have Christmas Day. I just told them that it was bad enough that I have to drag half my house with me to keep my girls entertained while at her house, at least on Christmas they could stay at home and play with the stuff the get for Christmas.

We don't eat meat, and are very happy eating all of the sides and desserts!

Turkey is the norm for us, and as for sides...mashed taters, sausage stuffing, maple pecan sweet potatoes, yeast rolls, creamed onions, corn, and of course apple and pumpkin pie. If I don't have the pies the day is a bust for my hubby :o)

Have a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving everyone!!
