my kids usually get socks and a bathtoy or something. this year i got son playdough and daughter jewelry along with six pairs of socks. hubby wants coffee samples and i got him a stocking cap to match his coat. i have no clue waht i am getting myself. i can fit a lot of stuff in them if i want cause we have huge stockings that were hand knitted. what do you put in your stockings for the kids, hubby, and yourself?

I usually put in smaller stuff that would be too hard to wrap, don't know what I am doing this year tho. Last year my son really wanted this video game, which we got him, I wrapped it and put it in his stocking and had him to his stocking last. It was a great end to opening gifts, the look on his face was priceless.

They get socks and an apple or orange, plus a little candy and also some little toys that I find at the dollar store or the $1 area at Target. My older son also gets some new pencils and crayons for school. They also get a new toothbrush.

I usually do hair things and flavored chapsticks for my dd, bath stuff for both. tattoos, crayons, pencils for school. Sometimes some earrings for dd. For my ds, bath stuff, playdough, matchbox cars, crayons. Lifesaver sweet candy books.

For my dh, socks, chapstick, hand cream (he is an electrician so his fingertips split in the winter) his favorite cologne, whatever else little stuff I can find.

I never buy my own stuff! Mydh takes both kids a few nights during the holidays on a special mission to get stuff for mommy. I love that they think about it beforehand and then spend the night searching for mommy stuff! The best is when I open all the stuff, I get to hear the stories about when they were shopping, oh I picked that out! or how they found it. I love it!
