Is your daughter currently bilingual? If so, in what languages?
If not, what language does she plan to learn in school?

all 3 of mine are bilingual spanish being their 2nd language...both are spoken in the home
Well I don't have a daughter but my son has been learning French in school and I speak Spanish to him so he's picked some of that up but he isn't completely fluent.
Amy speaks only english but wants to learn Spanish when she is able to take it at school

We introduced Hebrew at a very young age, with the kids all calling us mommy and daddy in Hebrew instead of English. My youngest will still use the Hebrew word for lion first. all of them know when to switch if someone doesn't know any Hebrew. They also take Hebrew in school. In fact, their handwriting and spelling are better in Hebrew than English.
My husband speaks 3 languages and speaks to our son in Moroccan arabic. My son understands some of it, (more from his father than from other people speaking to him in it) but does not reply back in it.
He started taking an Arabic class in Sept, once a week and is learning the alphabet and words.
At school (he is in 1st grade) they have Spanish once a week for 30 minutes.
So far he shows interest in learning his father's language and Spanish.
