How close are you to being done shopping for Christmas?

This year was pretty easy as far as shopping went.  DS is asking Santa for some Legos and one "special" gift that Santa chooses for him.  Usually it's a nutcracker.(he has about 40)  DD wants Barbie stuff.  It was really great to be able to go to Kmart and put in a layaway.  I got it out today.  That, along with the stuff DH had bought here and there, we are done for the kids except for stocking stuff.  He is done for me (or at least he had BETER be done!) but I don't have much clue of what to give him.  I'm trying not to spend too much but he sure deserves something wonderful.  SIL and FIL each have their main item bought, so only a few small things to buy for them.  Other than that, we only buy for my dad and stepmom and my sister and her family.  We won't see any of them until New Year weekend, so we're putting off buying for them until the after-Christmas sales.  Actually, my sister is bought for, and youngest nephew I have a great idea for, but the others are still up in the air.  At least I have plenty of time to figure it out!

I'm done! This is the first time I have been completely done this early and I love it. I am still shopping with my mom so if I see something at a great price I might pick it up but there is nothing that I need to get. I like to give my kids a big Christmas so I usually start shopping right after I get school clothes in August otherwise I couldn't afford it. I did have to put my sons laptop on my credit card when they had the tax free sale in August, but I paid it off when I got my Christmas club out in October. So not only am I done, it's all paid for- no debt! There were a few things this year that I took back to get the sale price adjustment (refunded about $240!)  I buy for my kids, my parents and my husbands parents, my two brothers and their soon to be wives and my two brother in laws and their wives and six kids. Like I said, I have to start early : )

I want to get some fabric to make some of my neices a purse and I am not sure what for my nephews-maybe make a carrying case for their game consoles(if I have the time). Oh we also need our tree. :)

I got a lot of shopping done in October.  I had surgery two weeks ago, was in the hospital for three days, and now am stuck at home unable to drive.  I reallllly want to go finish my shopping but I can't drive!  I already called my mom and asked if she would take me to the mall tonight lol.  Having to ask for rides to go anywhere makes me feel like a little kid!!

I have been picking up things here and there.... we purchased the Peanuts gallery of memories for our 6 month old son (a keepsake) from Barnes and Noble, some teething toys and other toys.... we have purchased a chem set for our 8 year old daughter, some Harry Potter collectables, a few books that she has been asking for.... we still need to order her DSi, American Girl doll etc. We did buy my mother a digital camera.... we still have a ton to buy! I didn't realize it until I wrote it out on here lol.

i normally avoid Black Friday at all cost but this year we got out and I have 2 out of 4 of my kids completely done.  We won't have a chance to go out again (babysitter) until mid month.

I am almost done.  Which is remarkable since I usually do my shopping on Dec 22-24th lol.  I have a 6 present limit per kid and i"m done with 1 kid and need 2 more each for the other 2 and then done.  Except for some stocking stuffers.  Waiting for next payday and then i'll be finished.
